The Easter Bunny is coming to Highland Speedway!

The Easter Bunny is coming to Highland Speedway & the 2013 Point Season Starts on Saturday, March 30th!

Come out and join us for the Easter Egg Dash & Bunny Hop on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Bring the family out for a fun night of racing action and Easter fun at Highland Speedway. We will have an Easter Egg Dash for our Junior Fan Club Members. Kids can come out and meet the Easter Bunny that night, Mom & Dad bring your cameras and get the kids pictures with the Easter Bunny. We have a special meet the driver event for Junior Fan Club Members that arrive early. At 5:00 pm bring your Easter baskets and meet some of our drivers and teams from 5:15pm – 6:00pm. They may bring candy and treats to share with you. Miss Madison County Queen Dairyn Tye will be coming to meet and greet the kids also. It will be a fun filled night.

Highland Speedway will kick off the 2013 Point Season on Saturday night! Racing action will feature the UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods, UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks, & Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros. It will be an awesome night of racing action. All the track work done last fall by the Madison County Fair Association is making for some amazing racing action. Thank you to all of them for their hard work and dedication!

Pits Open at 3:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 5:00 pm, Kids & Drivers Meet and Greet 5:15 – 6:00pm, Pill Draw by 6:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:15 pm, Hot Laps at 6:30 pm, Racing Starts at 7:00 pm. Box Seats are $15.00, General Grandstand Admission is $12.00, kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.)

The Pick 3 starts Saturday, don’t forget to get your Pick 3 ticket with your paid adult grandstand admission. Guess the winner of the 3 chosen Features at Highland Speedway during the night. Turn in your guess to the grandstand gate before the dashes start. If you pick the correct 3 winners, you have a chance to win a prize. We are still working on a sponsor for the Pick 3. The prize will be determined by the sponsor. We switch up the classes every week. Cards are being provided by Tribout Carnival Supply. Please remember to help support our sponsors that bring great racing action at the Highland Speedway.

Any drivers, teams, fans, supporters, and businesses that would like to make a donation to the Junior Fan Club for the Easter Egg Dash and Bunny Hop would be greatly appreciated. They are looking for prizes, plastic eggs, and candy and coins to put in the plastic eggs. TC Promotions/Memphis Int’l Raceway, presents: “Outlaws – The Comeback!

Here we go …. mark your calendars and make your plans now! It’s going to be a day to remember at Memphis International Raceway on May 25, 2013! I’m going to set the track on kill and let the Lethal1320.com boys go get the cash! Do not miss it!
With the upcoming 2013 season rolling around the corner, there is a new player in the market for small tire, Outlaw drag racing. Memphis International Raceway, located in Millington, TN, has approached Tyler Crossnoe Promotions about partnering into a first class ‘Heads-Up Havoc’ series for the 2013 campaign. I have been brought in to promote the event, as well as, oversee the prepping of the racing surface for the baddest of the bad!
This series will kick off on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 25th, 2013. These events will compose of a one-day event featuring three rounds of qualifying and eliminations compiled into one day of all heads up action! Classes to be featured at the “Outlaws – The Comeback” event will be headlined with the fastest cars on a small tire, Outlaw Drag Radial. With unlimited cubic inches, numerous stages of nitrous oxide, twin turbochargers and superchargers – these cars can rotate the world with over 3,000 horsepower on a tire no wider than a 315 Drag Radial! X275 will also headline a star-studded line-up at the opening Heads-Up Havoc event for Memphis International Raceway. With John Sears at the helm of this class, the class is headed for the stars! The local stars will be out running the X275 category, where the cars can only run on a 275 Drag Radial! The wheel-standing, bumper dragging action of X275 is worth the price of admission by itself! Mean Street, 6.00 and 7.00 Indexes are also on tap for the return of all heads-up racing to the Midsouth’s only ¼ mile racing facility!
Like stated above, I will be overseeing the race surface preparations for the series and I hope to see all of you come out and support this facility, as they are trying to offer all types of motorsports entertainment for the racer and spectator alike. I will be producing a flyer and will have it out as soon as purses are finalized and a few other small details. Just for the inquiring minds, lots of money will be thrown at this program …. why are you not already here?! There will be rules and weights in all categories with the scales on and you must hit the scales after every pass!
